Ingredients

½ cup butter

1 cup sugar

4 bananas, mashed

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1½ cups flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and mashed bananas.
  3. Combine well.
  4. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla.
  5. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes.

Chocolate chips and chopped pecans or walnuts make a great addition to this delicious bread.
