Ingredients
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 bananas, mashed
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1½ cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and mashed bananas.
- Combine well.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla.
- Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes.
Chocolate chips and chopped pecans or walnuts make a great addition to this delicious bread.
